Aren’t we all on the hunt for the perfect lip balm? - Essentials Everything

Aren’t we all on the hunt for the perfect lip balm?

Your lips have a more sensitive area of skin, causing them to be affected more by the weather. A lip balm acts as a barrier you can put on your lips to help protect against wind, sun, or cold weather.

Our Lip Balms are made of naturally based ingredients, with shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, and other luscious ingredients. They help soothe and condition your lips while nourishing them. These ingredients are amazing at moisturizing and hydrating this sensitive area and draw moisture to the surface, locking it in.

A reminder, that many mainstream lip balms have Petrolatum listed as a main ingredient. Petrolatum is a derivative of petrol, and it’s probably the last thing you want to be putting anywhere near your lips! These balms generally contain a range of petroleum products including mineral oil and paraffins. These mainstream lip balms are not actually penetrating the skin to solve the dryness issue. It’s actually the opposite effect, drying the skin out even more and therefore making you feel the need to reapply the balm to keep your lips feeling hydrated.

Using a lip balm that has natural and genuinely hydrating ingredients is a far more effective method of moisturizing your lips! So, make sure your lips are perfectly nourished and hydrated by grabbing one of these lip balms. They will glide over your lips and leave you wanting more. They are perfect for all seasons and at all times of the day.

The other bonus that a lip balm offers is that it can also be used on dry or chapped skin anywhere on the body, so it’s multi-purpose!

Sounds strange?

Lip balms contain many of the same ingredients our normal skin products use. This makes them a perfect way to address an area in a pinch. It’s for this reason that I always keep one in my purse.
