Guilty!! I struggle with consuming the right amount of 💧water that my body needs everyday!
Dang it, I/we just get busy; Our business, our kids, our home chores and all the other things we do. Yes, we have time for that pick me up cup of coffee or tea. That's water isn't? Yes it is, but it also makes you urinate more. Which is simply not helping with our hydration needs!
In humans, the average water loss by diffusion through the skin is about 300 to 400 ml/day, and an approximately equal amount is lost through the respiratory tract.
So, I ask you: Are you drinking enough WATER? 🧐

Staying hydrated both inside and out is key for maintaining overall health – but getting that internal hydration is especially crucial. We’re talking about drinking plenty of water or eating plenty of water-rich foods.
For these reasons, we should all try our best to get the right amount of water for our bodies’ needs. And while the “8 glasses a day” slogan has been commonly touted, it’s not a bad idea to get more. In fact, many experts say that the ideal intake for adults is closer to eleven cups.
It’s also important to drink more water than sugary or caffeinated beverages. Drinks like coffee are diuretics, which when misused, can force you to give up hydration that your body actually needs. So whenever you can, choose that H2O over coffee, soda, or alcohol. While making any long-term changes to your skin takes time, you can start to repair your moisture barrier — and notice a serious boost in hydration to the skin — in just a few days (in fact, you can change hydration levels in the skin in just 24 hours.
Without enough water, we’ll have more visible fine lines and dark circles, and our skin won’t be able to repair itself as efficiently!
That being said, none of us are perfect every day. Lord Knows I’m not! Just try and do better the next day! Remember, this is about taking care of yourself.
