Meet Rose Glen: A Botanical Touch for Your Daily Cleanse

Margaret Rustausky

Have you ever wanted something that felt more personal in your skincare routine? That is where my journey with Rose Glen began.

Living with rosacea made me more thoughtful about the products I used and the kind of daily ritual I wanted. I was drawn to botanical ingredients and set out to create a soap-based facial cleanser with a floral, earthy character. That personal experience helped inspire Rose Glen, but it does not mean the cleanser treats rosacea or replaces medical care.

For me, cleansing is more than another task at the sink. It is a chance to slow down, wash away the day, and give yourself a little attention.

What Is Rose Glen?

Rose Glen Facial Cleanser is a liquid, rinse-off cleanser that helps wash away everyday buildup, makeup, and sunscreen. Its formula combines cleansing ingredients with glycerin, aloe vera gel, and conditioning oils, while rose, patchouli, and frankincense give it its botanical scent.

A Closer Look at the Ingredients

Rose Hydrosol

Rose flower water forms the base of the blend and contributes to its rose-inspired character. It is distinct from the concentrated rose essential oil also included in the formula.

Castile Soap and Coco Glucoside

These are the cleansing ingredients in Rose Glen. They help lift away oil and everyday residue so it can be rinsed off. A soap-based cleanser should not be assumed to match the skin’s natural pH; how the finished formula feels on your skin matters.

Glycerin

Glycerin is a humectant, an ingredient that attracts water. It contributes to the formula’s moisturizing component, alongside the other ingredients in this rinse-off blend.

Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera gel is part of Rose Glen’s botanical blend. Its inclusion is not a promise that this cleanser will treat redness, rashes, infection, or a skin condition.

Fractionated Coconut Oil and Castor Oil

These oils contribute to the conditioning side of the formula. The experience of the finished cleanser depends on the whole blend, not the reputation of any one ingredient.

Rose, Patchouli, and Frankincense Oils

This trio gives Rose Glen its floral, earthy aroma. I love the character they bring to the cleansing ritual, without presenting them as treatments for scars, broken capillaries, acne, or wrinkles.

Make It a Simple Ritual

Apply a small amount to the face and neck, gently massage, and rinse with warm water, following the product’s directions. Follow with a moisturizer that suits your skin. A toner is an optional step if you enjoy one and your skin tolerates it.

There is no need to scrub aggressively or chase a tight, stripped feeling. Let comfort guide your routine, and stop using a product if it causes irritation.

A Thoughtful Note for Sensitive Skin

Natural ingredients are not automatically suitable for everyone. Rose Glen contains soap and aromatic essential oils, which some people may find irritating. If you have rosacea or another skin condition, ask your dermatologist about suitable cleansing options rather than relying on a botanical formula to manage it.

My own experience is part of the story behind the product, not a guarantee that your skin will respond the same way.

Find Your Everyday Moment of Care
